Best food in the world.

Just saw a small article in a magazine talking about Turkish food. The news is basically talking about Turkish food festival held in a big hotel, in cooperation between the hotel’s management and local Turkish Embassy. It wasn’t taking my attention until a phrase saying “it is commonly believed that Turkish food is among the world’s most delicious food. The other two are French and Chinese”. Born and spent most of the time in the East, I agree about Chinese food. Spending quite a while in Europe I partly agree about French, at at least I believe that French food is the best … in Europe, at least compared to German food where I lived. But Turkish is something new to my ears and hearing it as one of the top three turned me on to research availability of Turkish restaurant around.  Anyone know Turkish restaurant around, please let me know … I mean it.

Out of curiousness of course. My personal taste says that the most delicious food in the world are Thai, Mexican, and I reserve the third for my home food, Indonesian … Sundanese to be exact.

From all overseas “fastfood” alternatives, I prefer Turkey’s fastfood: Kebab.

You told me about this ‘best food’ when we were having dinner at the 2nd place! in Lovina. We moved from a restaurant to the other restaurants, just to find a great taste of salad which we didn’t get it ever. Should we say goodbye to Lovina?

Nope, unless we have enough money to fly to Istanbul and enjoy authentic Turk’s culinary experience. Stupid stall of Turkey’s food like Kebab Baba Rafi in Denpasar corners are not to consider anyway.
