I thought it will be hard to sell classic manual focusing lenses I had. It is quite old and hard to use compared to rather modern lenses especially zooms with all of their sophisticated functions and facilities, allowing amazing shoots taken in a snap.
In fact, it was by far easier than I thought before. I had a collector contacted to take over four of my lenses at a price which is slightly higher than what I spent to get them all. So with all the memories and faith of optical excellence, I had to say goodbye for good. Fellows enthusiast photographer whom I often spent time to hang out will no longer see them, and I think they will no longer laugh at me for behaving like a lens seller, going for hunting with a back pack full of primes in different focal length.
Any realistic suggestion for replacement? Whilst pursuing for performance, money remain the main constrain. If possible I would like to get fast zooms without spending more money then I got from selling my old lenses. With all respect to Imp with his suggestions, those are far beyond even my wildest dream.

congrats! you did it, man.
